World Artists Experiences
World Artists Experiences (WAE) bridges international understanding using the universal language of the arts. They encourage international interaction by providing channels for communication and exchange. They do this through programs providing cultural training for teachers and students; empowering students to be world leaders; developing community-based ambassador teams; creating opportunities for direct public interaction with people from around the world; and hosting events in communities and homes.

The Ambassador Series presents noteworthy artists and performers from around the world to showcase countries and cultures. Events may include music, dance, poetry, visual arts, and other art forms.
WAE coordinates cultural activities in schools and colleges to aid and inspire teachers in helping their students learn more about the people of the world. “Cultural Ambassadors” in partnering schools receive training and resources to help them enhance their international education curriculum throughout the year.
WAE provides assistance artists participating from other countries by promoting their art and connecting them to producers, agents, and educational opportunities. WAE also assists in identifying and contacting artisans whose work best represents the character of their country. The organization then provides opportunities for the sale of arts and crafts to support the artists and further build cultural understanding and appreciation.
Participants in Cultural Immersion Days register in advance and attend a day of exhibitions, tours, lectures, art events, films, concerts, museum visits, a festive meal, and other activities designed to provide a significant learning experience about a country, culture, or part of the world.

World Artists Experiences was incorporated in 2002 to build upon the collective vision of its founder and president, Betty McGinnis, and charter board members. Since inception, WAE members and volunteers have been active in providing opportunities for cultural exchange at the grassroots level. Programs have been sponsored involving musicians and other artists from Africa, Asia, Europe, Central and South America, and the United States.
